Adding computer memory to enhance your PC’s performance

Have you observed how sluggish your computer has become of late? Even though you defrag the hard drive on a regular basis, your PC seems to be getting slower and slower. Previously the applications used to open in a flash, but nowadays they seem to take ages to launch and at times, they do not launch at all, forcing you to abort that task. Have you ever given a thought why this problem is occurring? Have you also noticed how the technician right clicks on your computer’s screen and click on the `refresh’ option. Generally this tends to increase the speed of your computer for a brief period of time, before it slows down again.

These signs are vital pointers and mean that it is high time that you increased the memory of your computer. When people purchase a brand new computer, it has nothing installed in it apart from the operating system. Some suppliers might bundle in an anti virus program or so. Since there are no additional applications running when you turn on your computer, the memory supplied with the original equipment is sufficient to run your computer smoothly. People need to install additional programs over the course of time. You might install applications that you require for your day to day work and your kid might install a few of his favorite games.

Nowadays just an anti virus does not suffice and one also needs to install various anti spyware, anti adware, and anti malware programs too. These are installed to ensure the health of your PC, but if not selected properly, they might hamper the proper functioning of your PC. Basically there are many programs that keep on running in the background the moment you launch your computer. In order they require real estate in the form of computer memory and the same memory of your computer that seemed sufficient some months back is now proving inadequate.

If you do not believe this, just turn on your computer in safe mode. You will see that the speed has gone up. This is because most of the background tasks do not get loaded when you boot the computer in safe mode. The time taken for your computer to boot up and get ready for use will increase as more and more memory gets gobbled up by other programs. This slows down the overall capacity of your computer. These problems can be resolved by adding proper memory chips on your PC. You can either check out the motherboard’s manual or consult a friend who knows about computers to provide you with more advice on the same.

If required remove programs that are not required by you. There are different types of computer memory chips available and some of them match only certain motherboards. The manual that came with your motherboard will provide you with the correct information about the type of memory chips your computer requires. Now you will not need to `right click’ and `refresh’ to increase the working speed of your computer.

when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
